This post is essentially about nothing, because I didn't get to work on Rustbot at all last night. While I'm feeling optimistic about having something demonstrable by PAX East (handing out my business cards), it's still daunting at the moment. A large majority of what I need to get done is straightforward enough that I can churn it out given ample time. But some things are going to require more effort and research.
There are certain aspects of Bullet that I was unable to conquer during my last build of the game and will still need to figure out. Specifically, the addition of constraints between objects proved troublesome for me as I was unable to understand the proper syntax of the library's functions for doing so (I spoke of this in earlier blog posts).
See, this is why I need eight hours per day to devote to Rustbot. If I could do this as a full-time job (rather than chug away during my increasingly little spare time) I would feel much better about my progress. So give me your monies, that I might accomplish these tasks in a speedier fashion.
