Time management

I want Rustbot to succeed when it is (eventually) released, so it's in my best interest to spread the word about it. To that end, I signed up for 250 free business cards that I intend to distribute at PAX East this year. The only problem is that I don't have anything to show just yet, and at the very least I would like a preliminary website listing features and some potential screenshots / videos. So I'm desperate for time to work on it (less than four weeks to go!).

My business card

Unfortunately, this week is filling up rather quickly with real-world obligations, consuming hours that would otherwise be spent on Rustbot. This is fairly discouraging, but I can take some solace in the fact that this coming weekend is a three-day weekend, and, for the first time in five months, I don't have to work on Saturday (a long-due reprieve from otherwise despicable management).

In addition, my job is sending me to a week-long seminar in southern Rhode Island (all expenses paid w00t), during which time I will be using my girlfriend's laptop to code from 5pm-10:30pm every night.

Currently, though, in my limited capacity for coding, I can at least work on Rustbot conceptually. I have a 45 minute commute to and from work every day and that tends to facilitate wandering musings on how I want to implement certain features into the game. For instance, just this morning I had an idea on how exploration and its associated material looting should flow, which has long eluded me. I like the idea that I conjured and so I'm likely going to use it.

Anyways, back to real work for now. Ta ta.
